More information about the headline of the week: According to a representative study commissioned by the digital association Bitkom, only 54 percent of German companies from all industries have a contingency plan in case of a cyberattack.

According to the study, larger companies are better prepared, but there is still an overall backlog concerning cybersecurity and the employee’s awareness. For example, only six in ten companies conduct regular training on security topics and there is still rather little intention to increase this number.
